Released in 2018, Corazón Contento is a series on Amazon Prime that tells the stories of three Mexican families and their eating habits, featuring prominent Yucatecan actors.
The Muñoz, Lara, and Ramos families are the protagonists of this national production set in three different locations: Mérida, Monterrey, and Mexico City.
A wedding, a beauty contest, and a job dismissal are the triggers for each of the families’ stories, which seem to have nothing in common except for their poor eating habits, leading to hilarious situations throughout 13 episodes.
The Muñoz family represents a typical Yucatecan family and is composed of important personalities from the entertainment industry in Yucatán, mainly members of the famous Herrera dynasty: Mario Tercero, Lili Herrera, and Dzereco y Nohoch.
Other characters are played by content creator Perry Navarro, actress and host Mosk Marrero, and actor Juanki Durán in a special appearance.
Part of the series was filmed in Yucatán, allowing viewers to see locations and landscapes of Mérida, as well as representative streets, mansions, and haciendas of the city. All episodes of Happy Heart can be enjoyed on Amazon Prime.
