A reward will be granted to whoever provides information to locate the person(s) responsible for the burning of this poor little animal”, highlights the publication on social networks of the Center for Animal Control, Assistance and Zoonosis of Solidaridad, Quintana Roo; where a reward is offered to those who provide information to the telephone number 984 259 5050 about this event that occurred in the Bellavista neighborhood.

Valentín is currently hospitalized at the Dog Hunter hospital in Mérida, Yucatán, where he was taken after being rescued by residents of the Bellavista neighborhood, the canine was wandering the streets with part of his body burned, because the family of which he was a pet set him on fire for having eaten an egg.

“Valentín’s condition is critical, he came into our hands yesterday, and we went directly to the vet, he is already under treatment, the first thing is to keep him hydrated and fed to conduct the necessary studies, we need him strong to be able to anesthetize him and remove all the dead tissue, he will receive healing treatment every day. We still need support in kind, the creams are expensive and he needs them daily, we are taking care of him from infections, which is why he does not receive visits, ”the Huellitas de Amor A.C. Association published on its social networks.

Valentín’s case has escalated and has already been replicated thousands of times on social networks, it even reached Governor Mara Lezama, who asked the Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the case, since in Quintana Roo animal abuse is classified as a crime. We ask the Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo to act to find those responsible for this inhuman act of animal cruelty ”, the governor announced in her official accounts.
