Laura Berinstain, former mayor of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, caused an embarrassing scene on her birthday when she threw a tantrum because security personnel prevented her guests from entering the residential complex.
Using foul language, she demanded that a line of cars waiting outside be allowed to pass, despite being told by the staff that they were not registered and needed to provide their names.
Berinstain exploded and claimed that she worked for them, so she lifted the barrier and let them in.
When the supervisor calmly explained that the individuals were not on the guest list, she responded, “Are you coming with me? You will come with me so you can see that they were registered.” She then grabbed his arm and left with him.
Users criticized the woman’s behavior, pointing out that she should have acted according to her current position as a councilor and not treat people who were just doing their job with arrogance and disdain.

I wonder how one can make it thru wirh such title without following a simple rule. I vote for the security guard as mayor for Playa del Carmen!
