The National Center for Energy Control (Cenace) assured that there is no emergency in the National Electric System (SEN), therefore the supply of the service in the country is guaranteed.

“The SEN is prepared to face the maximum annual demand, which occurs during the months of June and July due to the increase in temperature in the summer,” it said in a statement.

This, after declaring an “Operational State of Alert” on June 20, although he clarified that this does not mean an emergency.

“There is no risk of rationing the electricity supply in the country,” he said.
