Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, arrived in Kiev on an unannounced visit due to security concerns, where he announced a package of military aid for Ukraine, which is at war with Russia.

In addition to this, the American country will participate in the training of Ukrainian pilots in the operation of F-16 fighter jets.

The aid package is worth 500 million dollars and includes shipments of missiles.

Trudeau’s visit comes amid the crisis caused by the destruction of the Kajovka dam, which has caused flooding and threatens the protective dam of the water reservoir for the cooling of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southeastern Ukraine.
