Madonna is hospitalized in an emergency

Madonna has been emergency hospitalized due to a bacterial infection, leading to the postponement of her world tour.

Her representative, Guy Oseary, issued a statement informing about the singer’s health issues on June 24th.

“On Saturday, June 24th, Madonna developed a severe bacterial infection that resulted in her being hospitalized in the ICU for several days. Her health is improving; however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected,” he wrote.

He mentioned that they will soon share details, which will include “a new start date for the tour and rescheduled performances.”
