A man was seriously injured when he became trapped inside his vehicle after colliding with a post on the streets of the Cienega 2000 neighborhood.

It was determined that the individual, identified as Roberto H., approximately 55 years old, was driving along 39th Street at the intersection of 110th and 112th Streets when he collided with a wooden post.

Due to the strong impact, his Chrysler vehicle sustained significant damage to the front, causing the man to end up trapped between the seat and the steering wheel.

Paramedics from the Secretaría de Seguridad Pública (Public Security Secretariat) arrived at the scene and focused on rescuing the driver, who was screaming dramatically while receiving first aid.

The man in his fifties was conscious but severely injured. He was eventually extricated from the vehicle, placed in an ambulance, and urgently transported to a hospital.

There were many people at the scene who had come out of their homes to see what was happening and, if possible, assist the man.
