The Complaints and Denunciations Commission of the National Electoral Institute (INE) approved, among other measures, the removal of material from the morning press conferences and stenographic versions held on July 10, 11, 14, and 17, in which President Andrés Manuel López Obrador made statements about electoral issues.

The Commission addressed six requests for precautionary measures, four related to potential acts of early campaigning and campaign-related issues, misuse of public resources, violations of fairness principles in the electoral competition, one related to Political Violence against Women due to Gender (PVW), and another one for violation of the rules regarding the dissemination of reports for the Federal Electoral Process 2024.

These measures were taken in response to various complaints filed by Senator Xóchitl Gálvez against the President of Mexico, the Coordinator of Communication and Social Media, the Director General of Communication and Digital Strategy, the Director of CEPROPIE, as well as the Director General of Communication and Social Media, the Head of Department attached to the General Coordination of Communication and Social Media, and the Spokesperson of the Government of the Republic, and/or anyone else found responsible for producing and disseminating on official social media platforms phrases, statements, and pronouncements that allegedly refer to her person and violate the principles of neutrality and fairness in the electoral competition.
