The wave of pink flooded Thursday night, specifically at Plaza Toreo, on the occasion of the premiere of “Barbie” in Mexico. Hundreds of people gathered since early morning to see actors Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and America Ferrera in person, who attended to celebrate this premiere.
Although the interior of the venue looked bright, there was a heavy rain outside that even caused some leaks in the area where the pink carpet was being held. The cleaning staff hurried to dry the platform and get it ready for the arrival of the actors.
Thousands of fans attended to meet the actors, who signed autographs as they walked the pink carpet and dedicated a few words to them. Afterwards, they screened 30 minutes of the film directed by Greta Gerwig.
“Being here is incredible, it fills our hearts completely,” expressed Margot, while Ryan said a few words in Spanish, “Good evening, Mexico, thank you for your love.”
The live-action movie will premiere in our country on July 20th.
