OceanGate has suspended all exploration and commercial operations following the implosion of the Titan submarine, which resulted in five fatalities, as announced on their website.

As a result, the two expeditions planned for June 2024, scheduled from the 12th to the 20th and from the 21st to the 29th, will no longer take place. These expeditions were under the supervision of French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, who tragically passed away aboard the Titan on June 18th.

On June 25th, the U.S. Coast Guard announced that they would conduct an investigation to determine the causes of the implosion, along with Canadian authorities.

The explorations lasted a total of eight days and had a cost of $250,000 per person.
