A man was arrested this Thursday after ramming his car into five pedestrians and then injuring at least nine people with a bladed weapon at a shopping center in Seongnam, south of Seoul, South Korea.
The police apprehended the perpetrator, who was attempting to flee the scene of the attack, and he is currently under interrogation to ascertain his motives.
Three of the victims are in critical condition and have been taken to a hospital, according to international media reports.
This is the second time a similar attack has occurred in a month, with the previous incident involving a man assaulting four people on a street in Seoul, resulting in one fatality.
