With the theme “Mexico for Women”, Beatriz Paredes and Xóchitl Gálvez expressed their ideas, to convince voters on why they are the best option to represent the “Frente Amplio Por México” (Broad Front for Mexico).

With a call to all Mexicans to be able to break through the glass ceiling for women and allow Mexico to have a female President for the first time.

This was the last forum “Citizen Dialogues” between Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz and Beatriz Paredes Rangel, who aspire to be the standard bearer of the Broad Front for Mexico and run for president against Morena.

During her interventions, the representative of the PRI, Beatriz Paredes, pointed out that a solidarity social reform in favor of women is necessary in the country, while the PAN candidate Xóchitl Gálvez indicated that a solidarity economy is urgently needed to provide an opportunity to undertake this society group.

With the theme “Mexico for Women”, the candidates, who dressed in handmade Yucatecan hipiles, called for breaking the patriarchal pact and strongly criticized that the current Federal government has ignored the demand for justice for women in the country, which they assured, has been the trigger for the increase in femicides in the country.

The meeting, held at the Siglo XXI Convention Center, was attended by 450 guests including politicians, businessmen, and people from civil society, in addition to national and local leaders of the PRI, PAN, and PRD.
