In the next 48 hours, there is a 70 percent chance of a cyclone forming due to a low-pressure area off the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula.

The phenomenon, located approximately 125 kilometers east of Cancun, Quintana Roo, moving northward, maintains a 90 percent chance of formation within a period of seven days.

In the state, cloudy skies with heavy rain in the east, center, and south are expected, along with hot daytime temperatures and warm nights.
