In the past few hours, news has emerged about an alleged robbery at the mansion of singer and songwriter Miguel Bosé, where several assailants had broken into the artist’s home, stealing jewelry, cash, as well as a luxury vehicle. However, after several hours, the Spanish artist confirmed this information via his Instagram account.
The singer-songwriter from Seville chose to break the silence and share the incident that occurred at his own home in Mexico City.
“Dear friends, on Friday night, a group of ten armed individuals stormed into my residence. They robbed us and held my children, the household staff, and myself captive for over two hours. They took everything, including the car. Everything was meticulously planned and executed. To make it short, we are all okay. My children behaved like two brave souls. Admirable,” said the performer in a post on his Instagram account.
In the same post, the renowned Spanish music star expressed gratitude for the general public’s and his fans’ solidarity:
“It was all very tense, delicate, and unpleasant. This is the only version you should pay attention to. Untrue things are being said, as some people often enjoy doing. Thank you all for the continuous support and concern shown, but rest assured. To my neighbors in the neighborhood, the first to arrive, a heartfelt thank you. And to those who speculate so much that I will leave Mexico after what happened, I’m sorry to disappoint. I’m here, and I’ll stay here to face whatever comes, in the most hospitable country on the planet. We continue,” shared the 67-year-old European musician and actor.
However, the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) explained that as of August 21, neither the victim, their legal representative, nor the administration of the residential complex Fraccionamiento Rancho San Francisco, where the incident occurred, had come forward to file the appropriate complaint.
