Neighbors of the Gran San Pedro Cholul woke up last Saturday with bad news: at least five vehicles were broken into by thieves during the early morning.
The criminals took wallets, a drone and other valuable articles. However, the police arrested the perpetrators.
According to the neighbors, the doors of the vehicles were forced between 3 and 5 in the morning by two men between 25 and 30 years old, who were caught by various surveillance cameras of private homes.
One of the men was wearing a white sweatshirt and light-colored shorts. Another wore a light-colored shirt, a black cap, and dark pants. The alleged criminals walked the streets of the area and began to open vehicles to steal valuables, including some brand glasses, wallets, a drone, watches, perfumes, cell phone chargers, and other objects.
The neighbors woke and realized what happened. Then called the emergency number 911, so the police began to investigate the area and established a search operation that concluded with the location of two people carrying several of the stolen items. They were arrested and accused of theft.
The owners of the stolen items went to the prosecutor’s office to report the crime.
