The National Chamber of the Food and Condiment Industry (Canirac), Yucatan delegation, presented a virtual tool to locate the restaurants of your choice, the closest ones, or see the different menu options to plan to eat out within the activities of the Merida Restaurant Week 2023.
In preparation for “the tastiest week of the year”, which will be from September 25 to October 1, the president of Canirac Yucatán, Claudia Yamili González Góngora, presented a virtual platform where users can find information about the various restaurants that will participate in Restaurant Week 2023.
The public can access to the platform on the page www.meridarestaurantweek.com where people can find the menus of the participating restaurants, which are divided by color depending on the menu in question. Like last year, restaurants participate with one, two, or three types of menus, with prices of $159, $269, and $399.
On the platform, people can access by choosing a color: orange, green, and blue, the menus according to the price, and see the various available options. Then, the public can download the image to save the menu of your choice or share it via WhatsApp or social media.
People can also find the list of participating restaurants in alphabetical order. An innovation is that geolocation can be activated so that depending on where the visitor are, the platform can point out the closest restaurants that participate in Mérida Restaurant Week, showing the locations with the three color options according to the menus they offer. People can additionally click on these and see the details of the menus.
There are more than 300 participating restaurants in this sixth edition of Restaurant Week, which will offer Yucatecan, Asian, Italian, and seafood food, among others. The virtual platform seeks to make it easier for diners to search for options according to their budgets, interests, or location.
