A couple of foreigners this Monday night in Cozumel, made death threats to their neighbors and despite being detained by the Municipal Police, the FGE refused to receive the complaint to proceed legally against the aggressors.
According to the testimony of Andrea Cupul Dzul, the North Americans between 55 and 60 years of age who lived in the house in front of them, annoyed by the barking of their dogs, shot them with a BB gun.
The events occurred on Calle 8 Norte, between avenues 45 and 50 of Colonia 10 de Abril, after midnight on Monday, September 4th. The first aggression was made by the woman who crossed the street and shot her pets and the facade of her house where the pellets were embedded.
Later, with the same weapon, the man went out to threaten them, so they called 911 requesting the presence of the police who arrived at the site in patrol car 7132.
However, this did not deter the aggressors, who apparently under the influence of drugs, went out in their underwear and continued to threaten and insult their Mexican neighbors, despite the presence of the police.
It was there where they were detained and handcuffed, the subject threatened to shoot them next time with a real pistol that he had inside his home.
The victim, who said she feared for her safety, that of her partner and that of her one year and months old daughter, when she went to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) they were refused to receive the complaint on the grounds that she had not been injured and that they had no evidence of the aggressions, despite the videos that show the episode of violence.
