Mérida, Yucatán, September 13, 2023.- In order to prevent the health of Meridanos and prevent cases of dengue fever, Rommel Pacheco continues to travel the streets of the city with his fumigation brigade in which he himself heads and participates.
Even on weekends, Rommel and his team go out very early in the morning in a van to visit the neighborhoods where the service is most needed at the request of the neighbors. In the last few days the Rommel Team’s fumigation brigade has been in Santa Rosa, San Luis Sur, La Aleman, Brisas, Los Heroes, Vergel and Caucel.
Previously, the fumigation brigade also took the service to neighborhoods in the south of the city such as Emiliano Zapata Sur and San Antonio Xluch while also continuing to deliver tinacos and other support through its permanent social programs.
In the Chamber of Deputies, after the beginning of the new Ordinary Period of Sessions, yesterday Rommel spoke out in favor of the rights of children and the eradication of violence against women during the vote on the Decree that adds a fraction VII to Article 34 and a fraction VIII to Article 46 of the General Law of Women’s Access to a Life Free of Violence (in general and in particular).
