Claudia Sheinbaum 39.4%

Marcelo Ebrard 25.6%

Gerardo Fernandez Noroña 12.2%

Adam Augusto Lopez 10%

Ricardo Monreal 6.5%

Manuel Velasco 6.3%

The Morena leadership summoned the six applicants at 5:30 p.m. to publicize these results before making them public, however, former Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard decided to skip this private meeting after denouncing “incidents” in the process of counting the ballots and announced that he called his supporters to an assembly next Monday to decide how he will act.

Just over three hours before the results of the polls were released, in an impromptu message to the media, Marcelo Ebrard asked the Morenista leadership to invalidate and repeat the process after their representatives expressed their concerns about various irregularities throughout the internal election process, including problems with the ballot box.

Sheinbaum, a 61-year-old scientist will also compete against the representative of the Broad Front for Mexico, Xóchitl Gálvez, and whomever they designate to be a candidate for the Movimiento Ciudadano party in next year’s presidential elections.
