The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, stated that the Tren Maya will enable fast and secure transportation for passengers across five states in the southeast of Mexico.
During his Fifth Government Report, in the city of Campeche, the President explained that the project, set to open in December, will transport passengers and national and international tourists through 20 stations and 14 stops.
He emphasized that the 1,554-kilometer project is the most significant one currently under construction globally, which will showcase civil engineering expertise in Mexico.
