At midnight this Friday, the messages that the INE (National Electoral Institute) ordered Xóchitl Gálvez to remove from her social media platforms for considering them as acts of premature campaigning will be taken down, as stated by the senator and presidential aspirant in Mexico.
“Upon INE’s instruction, at midnight, I will remove the following posts,” Gálvez posted on the social network X, formerly Twitter, and accompanied the message with the videos identified by the INE that need to be deleted.
The INE’s Complaints Commission ordered Gálvez to take various precautionary measures because in her public statements, she made remarks that could be regarded as acts of premature campaigning.
Specifically, the senator was instructed to remove two messages.
The same penalty was imposed on Claudia Sheinbaum, coordinator of the committees for the fourth transformation defense.
