A deceased foreigner was found on October 3 in a property in the Itzimná area, in Mérida, four days after his death, since his disabled wife and son had not been able to notify the police.
According to witnesses, the man’s body was found in a house at 18-A street in Itzimá, when the owner of the property where the deceased lived with his wife and son, both with disabilities, arrived at the site and noticed the death.
The deceased was of American origin and had suffered a heart attack and died about 4 days ago. The condition of his wife, who is paraplegic, and his son, in a quadriplegic state, prevented them from asking for help.
The deceased used to take care of his wife and son, who had to live with their dead relative for several days due to their condition.
