Samahil, Yucatan, October 26.- Gaspar M. T., 24 years old, had a tremendous skid on his motorcycle while trying to avoid a dog that crossed his path on the Samahil-Kuchel road.
Sadly, the impact with the motorcycle took the life of the ‘malix pek’ when he died instantly.
According to the facts, Gaspar, a resident of the Kuchel police station, was riding his FT 150 steel horse towards the municipal capital to go to work in Umán.
When he was one kilometer short of reaching the town, a small dog suddenly broke into his car, prompting the driver to take quick evasive measures to avoid colliding with the animal.
However, while maneuvering to avoid the furry animal, the two-wheeler skidded several meters and ended up lying face up in the middle of the road.
As a result, the young man was injured in the knees, arms and face.
Later the Emergency Medical Technicians from SSP unit Y-35 arrived to attend to the injured boy and transfer him to a hospital in Umán.
Likewise, a state patrol car and another from the Municipal Police were in charge of patrolling the area, as well as gathering information and clarifying the details of what happened.
Although the injuries did not put the young worker’s life at risk, he did present a fracture in the left radius ulna, in his right arm.
