The Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano and the Brazilian Danila Ramos went down in boxing history because they carried out the first women’s fight agreed upon for 12 rounds lasting three minutes each, the same as in men’s fights.

Previously, women’s fights were scheduled for 10 rounds and lasted two minutes.

Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano won the fight by unanimous decision, where the judges gave the same score of 120-108, in the fight that took place in Orlando, Florida, United States.

With this, “The Real Deal” retained the IBF, WBO, and WBA titles, and remains the undisputed featherweight champion (without a WBC belt).

Boxer Amanda Serrano holds the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring belts. Last August she defeated Heather Hardy by unanimous decision.

The boxer from Puerto Rico left her record at 46-2-1, with 30 knockouts, while Danila Ramos stayed with a record of 12-4.
