Man murders his ex inside a pharmacy in Queretaro, Mexico

On the night of Friday, October 13th, at Generic’s pharmacy located on Las Américas Boulevard in the Reforma Agraria neighborhood in Querétaro, a woman lost her life at the hands of her ex-partner in a femicide that has shaken the community.

According to official reports, at approximately 9:00 PM, a man entered the pharmacy and engaged in an argument with the woman, confirmed to be his former romantic partner.

The argument quickly turned violent when the aggressor pulled out a firearm and opened fire on the victim.

The woman, approximately 40 years old, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and tragically died inside the establishment.

Another man identified as Fernando “N,” around 30 years of age, who was present at the scene, attempted to defend the victim and was wounded by a gunshot to the head from the alleged femicide perpetrator. The injured man was transported to a medical center and is in critical condition due to his injuries.

The authorities from the Public Security Secretariat of Querétaro reported that the alleged killer, whose identity is known, managed to flee the scene.

The woman’s body was removed and taken to the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) for the necessary investigations.

A search operation, in collaboration with the investigative police, was launched in various sectors of Querétaro with the aim of capturing the perpetrator of this violent act.

The Querétaro Prosecutor’s Office has taken over the case and initiated a thorough investigation to clarify all the details behind this shocking tragedy. The murder has sparked a call for awareness and action against gender-based violence in the region.
