Stabbing attack at private school in northern Merida

According to POR ESTO, extensive police movement was registered this Friday, October 20th, around ten in the morning at a well-known private high school on Rogers Avenue in Mérda’s Colonia Buenavista, after a fight between two students.

Although the information has been kept confidential, it was reported that an argument between two teenagers ended with one of them being injured by a knife. One of those involved is a foreign student.

After the attack, State Police officers and paramedics arrived in the area, treated the assaulted student, and transported him to a private hospital.

Also, agents of the State Investigation Police arrived to carry out the first investigations.

It was reported that after the attack, the aggressor escaped from the school and has not been arrested.
