Tecnológico de Monterrey is working on the development of its own generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform, which they have named TECgpt.
According to Carles Abarca, Vice President of Digital Transformation at the educational institution, this tool will be a milestone in information technology, allowing the creation of images and social media posts, handling administrative tasks, and performing intelligent information searches.
The executive stated through Conecta, the official news portal of the educational institution.
Manuel Terán, Manager of AI Platforms in the Vice Presidency of Digital Transformation at Tec, pointed out that they based their technology on Microsoft Azure’s characteristics and implemented generative AI models such as GPT 3.5 Turbo, Ada-002, and DALL-E.
The platform will have two modes: TECgpt-portal, which will be accessible from a web browser.
