CAMPECHE – A Transgender sex worker nicknamed “La Negra” was beaten by a group of neighbors of the neighborhood Cuatro Caminos after a minor with mental and speech disabilities was a victim of touching by a person whose citizens mistook him for “La Negra” who was finally rescued by state agents.

However, the suspect claimed that he was not the aggressor of the child.

The events occurred when a 10-year-old minor with physical disabilities, was walking on 5th street in the aforementioned neighborhood, when he was surprised from behind by two people, who pulled him into the bush and touched his private parts and tried to take off his shorts.

The minor, in his desperation, managed to scratch the face of one of the depraved, which allowed him to get away and somehow he made it to his neighbors’ place, who upon seeing him in a nervous breakdown asked him what was happening, after a few minutes he managed to explain what had happened, which generated a neighborly fury.

The mob went to the site where they saw the transgender individual identified by the nickname “La Negra”, who is known in the area for being involved in acts of robbery and sexual aggression. The crowd surrounded him at the intersection of 105-A Street, at first became aggressive but when he saw he was outnumbered he started claiming that he had not done anything.

But the mob, not believing him, proceeded to beat him to the point of leaving him lying on the ground semi-conscious, while other citizens alerted the emergency number 911, so the police arrived at the scene, dispelled the aggressors, and handcuffed the suspect for the crime of sexual abuse.

However, the minor accompanied by his mother, with signs alleged that “La Negra” was not the aggressor, so he was released, unfortunately, the speech difficulties as well as the intellectual retardation of the victim made it difficult to find out who the suspects were.

Meanwhile, “La Negra” indicated that she would not file any complaint against her aggressors and preferred to take shelter inside her home in the company of other people, while the affected minor did not want to file any complaint either.
