A migrant from Oxkutzcab is found dead in San Francisco, California. The family is requesting help to repatriate his body, as they require $5,400 dollars, about 100,000 Mexican pesos, for the transfer from the United States to Mexico.

The deceased is Luis Armando B.C., 36, who migrated in search of the American dream when he was 18 and worked as a dishwasher in San Francisco, according to his sister Martha B.

He spent 18 years abroad and the last time he communicated with his parents Maria Cristina C. and Jose Leopoldo B.C. was 15 days ago.

On October 14, a cousin in San Francisco informed the family that Luis Armando was found dead on October 8 near a hospital.

Due to his humble economic situation and unknown cause of death, the morgue charges $5,400 to repatriate the body to Mexico (Jalisco), approximately 100,000 Mexican pesos.

His relatives request the support of authorities and society to cover the cost and bring back to his homeland the young man, who lived in the Tutul-Xiu neighborhood. The family of the migrant from Oxkutzcab placed an altar with the photo of Luis Armando B.C. and organized raffles to raise funds.
