Traffic events mobilized agents of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) to the northeast of the city on the afternoon of this Tuesday, November 28.

The accident occurred on Cámara de Comercio Avenue, where a Chevrolet truck driven by a woman overturned after hitting a Mazda car stopped in traffic.

The driver of the Mazda explained that the truck was traveling in the left lane and the woman driving the overturned vehicle noticed that a person tried to cross the street in an area where the pedestrian crossing is only halfway along the avenue.

In order not to hit the pedestrian, the woman turned the steering wheel and went to her right side, hitting the Mazda which served as a kind of ramp that ended up causing the truck to overturn.

The accident left no people injured, but the police had to close the lane of the avenue that goes from the Monument to the Haciendas to the north of the city, which has generated an intense vehicular traffic jam in the area.
