For reasons that are still unknown, a luxury van caught fire in the Santa Gertrudis Copó neighborhood in northern Mérida.
The events occurred on Saturday, November 4th, when a woman left her home in her Grand Cherokee SUV with Campeche license plates.
However, when he reached a roundabout, the steering wheel became stiff. Then, the woman noticed smoke coming out of the hood.
She immediately parked the truck and got out, but in less than 5 minutes, the flames had already engulfed the vehicle. The fire even reached the cyclonic mesh next to where she parked. Neighbors of the area notified 911, and shortly after, agents arrived at the scene to put out the fire. Fortunately, no one got injured in the incident, but the vehicle was completely damaged.
