On the morning of this Friday, November 24, a young motorcyclist lost his life after skidding on the road to Dzan at the Pustunich-Yotholín junction.
The young motorcyclist’s name was Jesús F.Y.T. 20 years old. His body was left near the lands that connect to the Pustunich-Yotholín highway. According to the authorities, the accident occurred around 5:30 in the morning.
In a curve, the young man lost control of his vehicle, left the road and crashed into a mound of stones, near where the motorcycle and the body were left.
After the accident, agents of the municipal police arrived at the scene, who requested the support of the Ticul paramedics. However, the rescuers could not do anything for the young motorcyclist and only confirmed his death. It was also announced that the now deceased was a resident of Pustunich, which is part of the Ticul Municipality. The area was cordoned off so that personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office could carry out the procedures. The Forensic Medical Service unit would also arrive to remove the body.
