A construction worker lost his life on Thursday, after falling from the roof of a house where he worked, in the municipality of Kanasín.
The events were recorded around 3:00 p.m., when the bricklayer, identified as Francisco “N”, 45 years old, was working on a property located in Mulchechén.
However, when he was trying to go down the ladder from a considerable height, he lost his balance and fell to the ground.
His companions immediately approached to help him, but there was nothing they could do, as he broke his neck and lost his life instantly.
Elements of the Municipal Police arrived at the site, as well as paramedics, who could only confirm the lack of vital signs.
Semefo personnel arrived at the scene to take care of the necessary tasks for its transfer to the morgue.
