Mérida, Yucatán, November 10, 2023.- In a festive atmosphere, full of lights, music, and fun, Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal, along with hundreds of Yucatecan families, inaugurated the Yucatán Xmatkuil 2023 Fair, which will begin on November 10 to December 3, it will offer locals and visitors a wide range of attractions and cultural, entertainment and livestock events, reiterating itself as the most important of its kind in the southeast.
In the Plaza Izamal of the fairgrounds, the Governor led the cutting of the inaugural ribbon of this cultural, commercial, and livestock showcase, a benchmark in the region, which will offer a varied range of proposals and attractions for the delight of attendees, through the participation of more than 1,400 exhibitors and more than 3,000 events, including the XXIX International Tropical Livestock Fair and the XXV National Brahman Livestock Exhibition.
In his message, the Governor pointed out that the Fair is a great opportunity for artisans, producers, farmers, ranchers, and merchants to have better sales, making it an important boost to the economy throughout the state.
Before the director of the office of the Yucatán Fair Promotion Institute, María Fernanda Blanco del Villar, and the Livestock Coordinator of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER), Arturo Macosay Córdova, Vila Dosal stated that this showcase is also a place for the healthy coexistence of Yucatecan families, who like every year come to have great moments.
For this reason, the Governor called on everyone to enjoy this party, but above all to make it a healthy and safe place for everyone.
