Priest Federico Noh Euán, vicar of the Pastoral Ministry of the Archdiocese of Yucatán, highlighted that transcendence goes beyond altruistic actions.

Life is a journey full of contrasts that leads us to experience emotions of all kinds; In this earthly journey we go through moments of sadness and pain, but it also gives us countless moments of joy, love, and happiness. It is a continuous flow of experiences that challenges us and invites us to reflect on the meaning of our existence.

This is what the vicar of the Pastoral Ministry of the Archdiocese of Yucatán, priest Federico Noh Euán, commented, who spoke about transcendence, in the program “ Salvemos una Vida ”, which is broadcast every Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on AMOR 100.1 FM, conducted by Esperanza Nieto.

“Transcendence is not simply performing altruistic actions, but also elevating these actions to a deeper level, imbuing them with the love of the spirit of God”, the guest said.

The priest highlighted that doing good altruistically is noble, but transcending implies going beyond trying to carry out good actions with the love that Jesus Christ taught us, which is why he invites us to reflect on the motivation behind our actions: do we carry them out of simple altruism? Or do we do them with the heart of Jesus Christ? he finally questioned.
