The accident, in which three vehicles were involved, occurred at kilometer 31 of the Mérida Periférico.
According to the report, a Tsuru vehicle hit a Vitara truck, which collided with a trailer.
The last mentioned vehicle suddenly braked and the metal beams it was carrying were projected forward, completely crossing the cabin of the truck on the passenger side. One of the beams also managed to hit the driver, who suffered an elbow injury.
On the other hand, the Vitara truck left the road and was overturned; It was reported that a person was taken from said vehicle and taken to a hospital.
