In the case of Yucatán, the sale of electronic devices predominates, mainly cell phones and television screens.

The State Government and the City Council of Mérida will advance 40 percent of the bonus to its 40 thousand employees, which will allow liquidity in this Buen Fin, in which average daily sales of approximately 2 million 6 thousand pesos are expected.

State agencies also offer “promotions”: discounts of up to 100 percent and various payment methods, especially on fines and taxes with surcharges. The municipality of Mérida is also participating with discounts on fines and surcharges for its services.

The Ministry of Public Security anticipated that it will maintain strict surveillance in which more than five thousand agents located in shopping centers and in the central area of the capital will participate.

In turn, federal agencies, including the Federal Attorney for Consumer Protection (Profeco), the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (Condusef) will provide support to citizens in the event that their rights are violated. In addition, they will open public service modules in the plazas and in their headquarters offices.
