Two brothers allegedly got into a fight at the Cosgaya community in Mérida, leaving a child with a wound on his face made with scissors.
The events occurred around 11 a.m. yesterday, Wednesday November 30, when the children were alone in their home.
According to reports, a 10-year-old boy began fighting with his 12-year-old brother. However, at one point the youngest of the brothers took a scissors and threw it at the other minor’s face, injuring his eyelid.
According to another version, the children were playing and not fighting at the time of the event.
After finding out about the incident, the mother arrived home, and called the emergency number 911.
Police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene, treated the child and took him to a hospital along with his mother. The minor’s health status is reported as delicate.
