Precipitation will initially be recorded in the northwest of the State of Yucatán.
Yucatán Civil Protection reports this afternoon through its social networks that this Sunday, December 10, a Cold Front will enter the State of Yucatán.
This phenomenon will cause a strong northerly event with gusts exceeding 60 km/h, waves of 2.4 to 2.8 meters, and heavy to very heavy rain accompanied by electrical activity.
Precipitation will initially be recorded in the northwest of the State and gradually in the northeast, center, southwest, and southeast.
Before the entry of this cold front, Yucatan will feel the effects of its trough in the municipalities of Tizimín, Río Lagartos, and Valladolid.
Likewise, a decrease in temperatures is expected, mainly in the south of Yucatán where minimum temperatures will range between 16 and 18 degrees, while in the rest of the State, they will be 19 to 22.
