A man kills his mother in Veracruz; then pretends to search for her on social media

A woman was murdered by her son in the municipality of Ángel R Cabada, in the southern area of ​​Veracruz. Abdiel García López, 29 years old, returned to the town of Panatlán, only to murder his mother on the night of December 24.

The young man known as “El Pato Chico” (little duck) had posted on social networks that he was seeking to make contact with his mother, María Esther, arguing that he had lost communication with her until the reunion was finally possible.

On the night of December 24, neighbors saw them arguing and finally, he committed femicide by hitting her with a stone until she lost consciousness and then he fled without his whereabouts being known so far.

The neighbors of the woman, María Esther López González, who was 62 years old, tried to help her and called the emergency units. However, when they arrived she no longer had vital signs.

The man, who was looking for his family, was living in Sonora. Police agents arrived at the site and cordoned off the scene until the Expert Services unit arrived to remove the body and begin the investigation. Elements of both the municipal and state police conducted a tour of the area trying to find the subject, but until now he remained at large.
