In the early hours of Sunday, December 10th, a vehicle fire was recorded in the streets of the Mulchechén neighborhood, with no injuries reported.
According to the version of witnesses, around 3 in the morning, residents of 59-A Street, between 70 and 72 of the aforementioned neighborhood, smelled the smell of smoke and, when they went outside, they realized that A truck was “devoured” by fire.
Upon realizing the situation, the neighbors went to notify the owner of the truck.
According to the owner of the unit, he left the vehicle parked. However, at the time of the accident, the truck was loaded with more than 70 bags full of charcoal.
They also notified the Emergency services and in a short time personnel from the Fire Department of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) arrived at the scene.
Municipal firefighters quickly took on the task of putting out the flames.
Municipal agents from Kanasín also appeared at the scene of the fire, who became aware of the incident and left after an hour, when the situation was under control.
The truck and its cargo were considered a total loss in the accident. The causes of the accident are not yet known; However, it is not ruled out that it was caused by a short circuit.
