Two days after the cyber attack on the main server of the government of Yucatán, on Friday, December 8th, all services and procedures of the digital network of the state administration were restored.
The reaction to protect the computer system carried out by the state Executive as soon as it detected this new cyber attack minimized the damage and protected the digital network from a collapse as occurred in the first “hack” it had on March 26 when it suspended all its functions for a long time. Online services.
In this second cyberattack, the effects were minimal and short-lived, as was found out.
The Social Communication office of the state government reported that online procedures and services have already been restored.

Since yesterday, the central server resumed operation, so that citizens can now use all online procedures safely, with certainty and confidence.
The state government reported that services were gradually restored until they were fully operational.
The State government thanked citizens for their understanding and patience in the face of this situation and reiterated that those people who have unfinished administrative processes, appointments and procedures will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
It was not reported where the cyberattack came from nor were the damages detailed.
