In the coming years, there are areas of specialization that will demand more workforce and for which one must be prepared, authorities from the Nuevo León Secretary of Labor said on Tuesday, December 5th.
During the inauguration of the Incmty entrepreneurship event, state officials highlighted the need to acquire new capabilities in favor of competitiveness.
In the coming years, they said, areas that expect great impact on the workforce are automation and robotics, as well as manufacturing processes.
Artificial intelligence is another area that will have a great impact on the workforce, they stated.
Likewise, talent will be required in sustainable energy, the environment, information technologies, electronic commerce, creative economy and remote work.
Before hundreds of attendees at the opening speech of the event held at the Cintermex events center, officials stated that the mentioned areas are identified with the purpose of focusing the state’s workforce towards what will be demanded in the future.
It seeks to strengthen labor well-being and the progress of the state, they said about Nuevo León, a state that has attracted investments of up to 42 million dollars in the last two years.
They added that there will also be potential in the manufacturing of transportation equipment, manufacturing of accessories, and devices that use electrical energy, manufacturing of rubber, and metal products, the food industry, and the manufacturing of machinery and equipment.
