“It is a magnum opus, we are not exaggerating if we say that there is no such work in the world today and it was also achieved in record time. These works generally transcend governments, they last more than a decade, 10 years and in five years in general and less if we take into account when the construction really began, this great work has been completed, which is a reality due to engineering. civil, with railway engineering, but of course, and above all, by construction workers.”

President López Obrador highlighted that nearly 100,000 construction workers from all over the country were hired in this work and assured that this first stage of the Mayan Train may be inaugurated under the responsibility of the construction companies –Carso, Mota Engil, Indi, ICA and Alstom – which finished on time and on budget.
