Residents of Umán can enjoy, this holiday season, the attractive Christmas Walk of Flowers, with figures such as Santa Claus, the Three Wise Men, an elf, a snowman and a reindeer , made up of more than 30 thousand flowers, including petunias of various colors, kalanchoes, panalillos, ageratos, cempazuchitl and the typical Christmas Eve Flower for the plant mats.
This exhibition promoted by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal to bring moments of fun and healthy recreation to the Yucatecan population, will be from today until January 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. next to the church San Francisco de Asís of this municipality.
Surprised to see a Santa Claus made of flowers, little Luis was with his mother Sandra Rojas, who went to the Christmas Flower Walk to witness the long-awaited display.
“I love flowers, in the house we have many fruit trees and flowers planted, that’s why when we found out that they were going to put this up, I told my son we have to go see it and, the truth is, we loved it, it’s very pretty “It’s good that now they were able to bring him to Umán,” Sandra highlighted.
It is worth remembering that in recent days Governor Mauricio Vila inaugurated in Mérida the Christmas Walk of Flowers in the civic Esplanade of La Plancha Park, considered the best in Mexico, where people will be able to see a plant mat with figures such as the Three Wise Men, a nativity scene, as well as plant sculptures that include a piñata, polar bears and the main character of Christmas, Santa Claus.
Together with her friends Ximena and Doris, Daniela Dzul went to visit this exhibition after school, where she is currently in her third year of high school.
“It is very cool and colorful, we liked it a lot, plus this way we have a place to go after school or come with our families for a walk. Last year we went to Mérida to see him, but now we have him nearby so we can come as many times as we want,” commented the young woman.
