The transformation of mobility in Yucatán promoted by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal is already a reality and this was confirmed by the first person who boarded these new Ie-tram units that are part of the first 100% electric public transportation in the Southeast and the only one in Latin America that offers quality service for everyone.

This was confirmed by Héctor Gloria Marín, after moving from the Parque de “La Plancha” station to the Teya station, where he described the Ie-tram as a comfortable, accessible, and very technological transportation.

“It is a very comfortable transport, it is super cool, quite innovative and there were many new technologies that were new to me. I never thought that this would be seen in Yucatán and it is something impressive,” said the young man.

The 17-year-old student also indicated that Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal was right to bring Yucatán to the Ie-tram, as it represents a great opportunity for young people and residents to open their eyes to see that there is a world outside. and the future is coming and is close to continue encouraging us to continue innovating in Yucatán,” he assured.

It is worth remembering that, yesterday, after making a trip from the Campeche Station to the Teya Station of the Mayan Train, Vila Dosal and the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, gave the inaugural flag of the first route of the Ie – tram: Paseo 60-La Plancha-Teya that operates with the first 11 innovative units that have high technology and are environmentally friendly and inclusive.

In recent days, it was announced that the cost for this new transportation will be 45 pesos for tourists; $14, for the general rate; and $5, for students and seniors; while people with disabilities can go up free of charge. The ticket offices will be located at Paseo 60, La Plancha, and Teya station.

On the other hand, Sara Montes Ferrán was the first person to purchase an Ie-tram ticket at the Teya station after getting off the Maya Train to travel to Paseo 60 in Mérida, and who assured that this transportation is a great support, to transport safely and above all economically.

“It looks like first-world transportation and this is very good for our country because of the image it gives. We deserve this type of transportation, first of all, because it is electric and environmentally friendly, which helps everyone. This part of Mexico is so beautiful that it opens the door for us to visit it and move around efficiently,” stressed the retired teacher.

Likewise, Sara Montes expressed that the work promoted by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal is an example for the entire country because it helps speed up mobility, mainly, she said, for elderly people like her, due to safety and security. ease of access, which is why he stressed that “it should be extended to the entire country.”

Finally, the former teacher invited people to use this new means of transportation, which she believes will be very beneficial. In addition, she took the opportunity to remember that on previous visits she had taken advantage of the benefits offered by the “Va-Y-Ven”, which she said she has used to get around the Yucatecan capital, so she assured that the Ie-tram would come to pay to this system.
