Three travelers arrested with false passports in Mérida

Authorities at the Mérida “Manuel Crescencio Rejón” International Airport reported that the detention of  three people when they tried to travel to Houston, Texas, with false passports, according to authorities.

The police report indicated that personnel from an airline detected the travelers, who are allegedly from Campeche, then reported the situation to agents of the National Guard.

In the passports they presented they identify themselves as Esmeralda Hernández Narváez, and the brothers Adrián and Damián Robles Asencio; the woman born on January 3, 2001, with an issue date of June 12, 2023, with an expiration date of June 12, 2033. Adrián, born on March 16, 1979, with a document valid since April 5 and expiring in the same month of 2033; and Damián, born on April 12, 1980, and “passport” valid until June 12, 2029.
