With 440,985 workers insured by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Yucatán registers a new historical maximum in job creation, with a growth of 4.8 compared to the same month in 2022.

The work of Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal to attract investments to the entity translates into the generation of jobs. With this increase, Yucatán is placed among the first 6 states in the entire country with the highest growth.

Yucatán is among the first eleven places with the highest job creation, an amount that is greater than the national average of 69,260 and which translates into the generation of 1,152 jobs per month.

Since May 2021, there have been 31 consecutive months of annual growth in the number of workers affiliated with the IMSS. This means that between November 2022 and 2023, 20,123 new sources of employment were created.

From January to November of this year, a growth of 6.4% was recorded in the number of insured workers, an increase greater than the national rate of 4.8%, placing the entity among the first eight places with the highest growth.

To generate jobs in Yucatán, 350 projects have been attracted from sectors such as Information Technology, aerospace, real estate, agro-industrial, construction, and logistics, among others, with internationally renowned brands.
