The driver of a car died on the morning of January 27 after she was thrown from the vehicle when it overturned on the Motul-Baca highway.
The events occurred on the Motul-Mérida highway, at kilometer 18, when the red car was traveling from Oriente to Poniente, when exiting a curve it lost control of the steering wheel and went off the road.
When she left the road he advanced just over 50 meters into a ravine. Due to excessive speed, he hit some rocks on a road wall and ended up somersaulting. Its driver was thrown about 10 meters into the undergrowth. SSP paramedics arrived at the scene and only confirmed that the woman no longer had vital signs. Elements of the Baca Municipal Police and the SSP arrived to cordon off the place for the necessary procedures. The victim was Sonia D.C.P. and she worked as a medical assistant.
