Five arrested for drug dealing in Tulum

The Secretariat of Citizen Security ( SSC ) of Quintana Roo reported the arrest of five individuals allegedly involved in Crimes Against Health (drug dealing) and under investigation for the theft of Rolex watches.

The operation was carried out on Itzamná Street , between Central Avenue and Kaan walkway, in the Aldea Zama subdivision, Tulum, Quintana Roo.

Those arrested respond to the names of:

– Osvaldo “N”
– Irving “N”
– Iván “N”
– Kelwing “N”
– Felida “N”

The arrest occurred while those now detained were exchanging multiple transparent plastic bags with marijuana for money. When they noticed the police presence, they tried to flee the scene but were arrested on the spot.

According to SSC reports, the detainees had in their possession 198 doses of marijuana and 113 doses of a crystal-like substanceIn addition, a blue Volkswagen Vento vehicle with Mexico City license plates was seized.

It is speculated that these individuals are also linked to the recent thefts of luxurious Rolex watches in Tulum. The investigation is still ongoing to clarify their alleged participation in these crimes.
